He passed away peacefully at Grey Bruce Hospice – Chapman House on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Born in Newport East, South Wales on March 20, 1942, Henry William Charles Richards also known as Dave Richards of Owen Sound, was in his 85th year.
Beloved husband of the late Rae Richards (nee Parsons). Proud father of David Richards (Kelly), Rob Richards (Kathy), and Paula Gibb (Mike). Treasured grandfather of David, Carter, Jason, and Sherri & great grandfather of James, Nikoloaus, Sadie, Gracie, & Abigail. Dear brother of the late Arthur, Dennis & Kenny Richards. Dave will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, and friends.
Predeceased by his father John Anthony Richards.

In keeping with Dave’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
