On May 31,2026, Marilyn O’Connor in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Maurice (2015). Dear Mom to Timothy (Laurel), Patrick (Cheryl), Gregory (Lori), Sean (Rebecca), Kelly (Josie), and Daniel (Tracy). Loved Nana to Erin (Matthew), Brendan (Stephanie), Ryan (Jessica), Colin (Anne), Morgan (Jillian), Taylor (Mark), Reilly (Adrianne), Julia, William, Ethan, Christian, John, Luke, Carly and Ruby. Cherished Great Grandmother of 17. Loved Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister in law Ursula O’Connor (Denis). She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Ann Kelly and her sister Arlene Thompson (Douglas) as well as Maurice’s family. Marilyn grew up in Fenelon Falls, Ontario. She trained and nursed at Oshawa General Hospital and it was during that time she met Maurice. They were married in 1958 and settled on the family dairy farm in Pickering Township where they raised six sons.

The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village (Ajax) 647-360-1902 on Thursday, June 4th from 4 – 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 5th at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 903 Gifford Street, Whitby. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby. Donations to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
