David Gordon Mickolwin

Passed away peacefully in Niagara Falls Hospital on May 14, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 4, 1948 to Reginald Mickolwin and Patricia Dawson. He was a devoted and much-loved husband of Maureen (née Magee) of 60 years. Proud father to his beloved sons Todd (Crystal) and Jeremy (Tamiza Abji) who were his pride and joy. He is survived by his sisters Anne (Frank Giorgio), Wendy (George Booth), and Sandra (Ron Shaw). He will also be fondly remembered by Jeremy and Tamiza’s beloved dog, Dougy, whom he adored and treasured. David was deeply loved and will be remembered by many members of the Mickolwin, Magee and Litner family members whom he spent much of his time with. He was predeceased by his brother Grant Mickolwin.

David Gordon Mickolwin enjoyed spending time with family, as well as boating and traveling. Vacationing in Jamaica was a past favourite, while in more recent years were spent escaping the Canadian cold by spending time in Arizona and Florida. The most recent travel highlight was going on Safari to Africa with Maureen, Jeremy and Tamiza.

Respecting David’s wishes a celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 7th from 1-4 pm at High Park Brewery, 839 Runnymede Rd, Old Toronto, ON M6N 3V8. We will share memories and celebrate the life of a man who held a special place in our hearts. In lieu of flowers bring yourself, memories and stories to share. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tranquility Burial & Cremation Services (Niagara) Inc.
