Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of family on Wednesday August 5, 2026, at the age of 84 years. Loved and missed by his wife; Teri Murphy and children Michael Lyons (Michelle), Shawn Lyons (Stephanie), Brad, and Teresa. Loving grandpa of Kyle (Kate) and Caleb and great grandpa of Brennley and Tahlia.
Ron’s professional career was being a part of the first line subway built in Toronto and later moved into the cab business from being a driver, dispatcher and owner. He enjoyed all sports and his true passions were wood working, Toronto Blue Jays & horse racing. Ronald Lorne Lyons had a big heart and would take the shirt off his back for most if ever needed and would light up a room with his big personality
A Celebration of Life will take place at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge on Sunday August 30, 2026, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM with remembrances to be shared at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers donations are appreciated to 360 Kids or the Uxbridge Hospital Foundation.
