Passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026, in Lindsay, Ontario, Canada, at Ross Memorial Hospital.
Gregory Paul Guiry was born on February 18, 1965, in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. At age four he moved to California with his family, his father, mother, and brother, before eventually returning to his roots in Omemee, Ontario, Canada. It was during his early years in California that he developed a love for surfing, a passion that stayed with him throughout his life.
Gregory was a son, a brother, and a member of a close-knit family. He is survived by his father, Richard Lawrence Guiry; his brother, Richard David Guiry; his sister-in-law, Joyce; and his nephews, Richard Jr., Nicholas, Michael, Jonathan, Gregory, Benjamin, Stephen, and niece, Ariel Guiry.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen James Guiry, and his mother, Sharon Louise Guiry.

A Mass Christian Burial will be held at St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church, 513 Ennis Road, Ennismore on Friday May 15, at 1:00PM
