With profound sadness and heavy hearts, family and friends announce the passing of Eric Fischer, who passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his devoted wife Lori at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice on the night of May 6, 2026. Eric was born in St. Catherines, predeceased by his parents Paul and Margrit Fischer. Cherished stepfather to Sara , Tyler and Dalton. Dear brother of Elkar Fischer, Dorli Fischer, Marc Fischer (Jennifer) and step sisters Sylvie Carr , Sue Carr and Shelia Carr. His loss has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. Eric will be remembered as a devoted husband, loyal friend, and compassionate soul whose warmth touched countless lives. He was known for his caring nature, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication to the people closest to him. Whether through his words of encouragement, sense of humor, or simple acts of kindness, Eric made those around him feel valued and loved. Above all else, Eric treasured his family and friendships. His presence brought comfort and joy, and the memories shared with him will continue to live on in the hearts of loved ones for years to come. His legacy is one of love, loyalty, and compassion—a life that truly made a difference.
