Peter Diver

He’s lovingly remembered by his wife Theresa, his son Michael, his grandson Marshall, sister-in-law Mary and her husband Ian, sister-in-laws Maureen and Helen, longtime friends Gerry, Joe, and Bridget, along with his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Peter was born in Glasgow, Scotland on December 15, 1943, and later moved to Canada in 1965. A lifelong fan of Celtic F.C., Peter could often be found watching a game alongside friends at the Durham Celtic Supporters Club. Peter Diver enjoyed travelling, including visiting Florida with his wife Theresa, and having most recently travelled to Scotland last year to attend a Celtic game. He also loved gardening, golfing, and was a lover of home improvement shows.

Visitation will take place at Oshawa Funeral Home (847 King St W, Oshawa) on July 24th from 6-8pm, with a Mass taking place at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church (1314 Oxford St, Oshawa) on July 25th at 11am, to be followed by a reception at the Durham Celtic Supporters Club (110 Ash St, Whitby).

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to Lakeridge Hospital in Peter’s name.
