Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 10, 2026, at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Erb) Dick (2022). Cherished father of Terri Lynn (Dave) Quick and Bryan (Carol) Dick. Proud and loving grandpa of Sonja Marzo, Alex Marzo, Melissa Dick, and Cory Dick, and dearly missed great-grandpa of Grayson Dick, Elijah Dick, Artemis Dick, and Natalie Marzo.
Doug will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends for the many years of memories, stories, and moments shared together. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose presence will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Dear brother and brother-in-law of Beverley and Doug Hunter of Nova Scotia. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and close friends. Predeceased by his parents, Ross and Ida Dick, and by his brother, Ian Dick.
In keeping with Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment Baird’s Cemetery.
