With profound sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Jason Ronald Burrows on June 29, 2026 in Edmonton, Alberta at 41 years of age.
Jason will be forever deeply missed by his Mom and Dad Dennis and Donna Burrows, Brother Jeff Burrows, Nephews Logan and Peter, and very special Grandparents Jason was extremely close to – Grandma Joyce Neyvatte and Grandpa Ron Burrows, all of Kincardine. Also leaving behind loving Aunts and Uncles; Mark & Donna Neyvatte, Dave & Mary Neyvatte, Bev Somerville, Dan Burrows (Pam Campbell), Derrick & Karen Burrows, Mike & Julie Burrows, Moira & Mike Liebregts and cherished Cousins Jason was lucky enough to grow up and have a strong bond with; Chris & Crystal Neyvatte (River & Kaia), Rachael Neyvatte (Chris Hickey) (Tori & Juli), Clayton Neyvatte (Stephanie Sylvester), Michelle Somerville, Andrew Burrows (Ilyana & Isla), Danielle & Alex March (Henry, Oliver, Selena, Isabel), Tre Burrows, Devon Burrows, Shawn Burrows, Amy & Tyler Morlock (Aubree), Kelsey & Tanner Kolaska (Coen & Emaya), Ashlea Burrows and Corey Burrows. Predeceased by his other special Grandparents – Grandpa Ron Neyvatte (2014), Grandma Barb Burrows (2025), and Cousin Dale Burrows (2026) (Jess & Alecsys). Jason had many friends of all ages, some who have also passed (Brent Small, friend since childhood) who he will be reunited with along with dear family members.
Family was everything to Jason and even while working throughout Canada he inquired about each of them.
Jason grew up loving sports, playing hockey, soccer and golf, and continued to impress with his knowledge of stats. Golf was a love from a young age and led him to a career he loved in the industry as a Golf Course Superintendent. His work ethic was very important as Jason took pride in his work and his high energy was an asset for his long hours. He was a fair and understanding leader and boss.
Jason had a great sense of humour and loved to have a laugh with family & friends. He enjoyed comedy movies and did a mean impersonation of his favourite roles. He was young at heart and enjoyed playing & teasing with his nephews – the fun Uncle (Uncle Buck, lol). He often broke out in song, might be a Christmas song in the summer but sung loudly with enthusiasm. Never a dull moment with Jason, he made our house feel like home!
He always loved animals, his dogs Ollie & then Tiger were the recipients of Jason’s devotion and loving attention.
He was a generous soul who lent a helping hand or shared what he had with others in need.

A private funeral will be held August 14th, at 2:30pm at Davey Linklator Funeral Home.
