David Samuel Boyd

Peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Bluewater Health, David Samuel Boyd passed away at the age of 84. Loving husband of Shirley Boyd for 33 years. Cherished father of Stacy (Hez), Jackie, Sheila (Richard), Jason, and Tanya (Rick). Treasured grandfather of 5, and great-grandfather of 10. Predeceased by his siblings Bill, Don, Evelyn, and Shirley, and by his parents Daniel and Evelyn. David loved to frequent Tim Horton’s at Northgate and especially enjoyed chatting with the staff. Fondly remembered by his furry companion Edith. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. An interment of his ashes will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Sarnia, at 2:30 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Community Living Sarnia- Lambton (cheques only at the funeral home please).
