Doreen Thompson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our  precious “Nana” Doreen Martha Thompson Nee Polmateer on May 5th 2026 at the age of 88.

Wife of the late Howard Thompson and Mother to the late Daniel Howard Thompson. Forever missed by Kim, whom she adored as Mom. Pre-deceased by her Parents and Siblings Ethel Mouck and John Polmateer. Brother’s Lorne, Edward, Gerald, Royce, and Ronnie. Sisters Annabel, Betty, Lillian, and  Laura. Survived by Sister’s Eliza Wagner, Carol Wood, and  Brother Mervin Polmateer (Ilene).

Our loving Nana has left behind a legacy of warmth, family  dedication and cherished memories. Nana was known for her quick wit. Always having our favorite treats on hand, her creative mind and competitive nature. She enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with family. She cherished her time with her many great  Nieces and Nephews.

Her infectious laugh and wisdom and kindness will always be remembered.
