Suddenly entered into rest at his residence in Saint Albert on Thursday June 25th, 2026. Stephane Paul Lafrance of Saint Albert, aged 57 years. Beloved father of Shaquille LaFrance. Dear son of Huguette (Bazinet) and the late Marcel Lafrance. Brother of Yves and Martin Lafrance. Also missed by many nieces, nephews and friends including his racing friends.
Friends and fans will remember Stephane racing cars of his own design at racetracks including the Brockville Ontario Speedway and the Cornwall Motor Speedway.
A time to celebrate Stephane’s life will take place at the Baldachin Inn, 111 St. Lawrence St. in Merrickville, ON, on Saturday July 4th, 2026 beginning at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville.
